Donna Denison first produced Little Creek Dressing on her family property from 1995 to 2014. The land has been in the Denison family since 1947 and is situated on the west shores of Okanagan Lake in beautiful British Columbia. Donna and her husband Dale moved to the property in 1984, cleared the land and began farming vegetables and salad greens. Donna was inspired to create salad dressing in 1995 to compliment the organic greens Dale was growing and by the government’s support for value-added products. Donna first bottled the famous Original Vinaigrette in 1995 using raspberries, basil and garlic that they grew on the farm.
July 2014 marked Donna’s move of Little Creek Dressing’s production and warehousing to the new Little Creek facility in Kelowna, to accommodate the ever growing business. Although no longer on the farm the production batches remain artisan and small. The business practices remain true to the values and mission of the company: We produce organic, wholesome, flavourful foods that encourage healthy eating, healthy living, and a healthy planet!
